The brand behind the books

Jobel Publishing

A family name, in the most literal sense.
Two people, one word, and the books that grew from it.

Where the name comes from

John · Izabel · Jobel

Jobel is not a word you will find in a dictionary. It was made at home, out of the two names at the heart of the family: the Jo of John, and the bel of Izabel.

It is a small thing to put your family into a brand name, and a rather larger thing to live up to it. Every book that carries the Jobel imprint, from the sweeping world of Populous to the allotments of Brixham and the stories written to make a child smile, is published under a name that belongs to both of them.

It truly is a family brand.
